Our two-week family vacation to Costa Rica started on a sour note in late-August when we arrived at the U-Save Car Rental office in San Jose and were told the car we reserved was rented to someone else. We left the agency in disgust after the proprietor tried to talk us into a smaller car that didn’t fit our family of four, and then another car at twice the price we had committed to pay in advance.
Luckily for us, my wife’s cousin in San Jose knew Juan Luis Cascante of Best Price Rent a Cars. Juan Luis was a gem. The next morning, after a simple phone call, he delivered a Toyota Rav 4 to the home where we were staying. The price was in the same range as the one we had reserved, but for a better, more reliable car. Juan Luis was a gentleman, sending us on our way to a delightful trip, after an ominous beginning.
At the end of our vacation, we worried about trying to find our way back to the airport to return our car. Navigating suburban San Jose streets was a headache due to the lack of street names and signs, and our maps were useless. Juan Luis agreed to come pick up the car from us the day before, so we could rely on a taxi for our early morning airport trip. I have never seen such fabulous customer service before from a rental car company. I will strongly urge my friends traveling to Costa Rica to give Best Price Rent a Cars a call if they need to rent a vehicle.

I came to know about “Best price rent a car”via a good friend in San Jose, and so, whilst in Netherlands via internet arranged a 4 wheel drive just a few days before flying to San Jose. The email communication was very friendly, clear, with all the right information and they gave me such a good offer on the rental that didn’t think twice. Half suspecting the car would not be in the best condition, but on arrival at the airport the car was waiting for me, looking very well, and it felt so good driving that car as if it were new.
I rented a RAV 4 and all the 5 weeks it served me very well, was comfortable and reliable, and made my holidays a complete success.
So I’d like to express my gratitude to “Best price rent a cars” for great service, car-maintenance, customer friendliness, and very reasonable prices.

The SUV was perfect for our trip in the Mountains (where my dad lives) , and for our sight-seeing all over the area. The GPS that you have is a huge help, and we really appreciate the extra time you spent going over it, and making the car return easy by you coming to the hotel by the airport to get it.

We are enjoying Costa Rica, it is beautiful and the weather and climate below 1100 meters in the central valley is very pleasant.
